It's done. After nearly a month of working and agonizing, my portfolio is finally DONE. I mailed it off to Disney Animation Studios today. Thank God for overnight shipping. Unfortunately it was a bit costly but if I make it, it'll be worth it in the end.

More than anything I'm just glad to be rid of it. I was so focused on getting that damn portfolio done I practically ignored my homework, I forgot to bring assignments to class, and I couldn't sleep because of stress. What's nice is now that it's gone, I kinda feel a sense of empowerment. Not a whole lot, but I at least feel ready to take on finals, so bring it on.

I'm so ready to graduate. Four more weeks and then I'm out.

Tonight I took my anthro final. Which means I'm done with Cultural Anthropology! Only two more weeks of Math left, then I'm done with summer school.

Today I went up to CalArts to get my portfolio back. I was happy to see it's still in perfect condition. *whew* Christy came up with me just to keep me company on the 2 hour drive. On the way home we stopped in Burbank at a little make-up and prosthetics shop. We got all the materials we'll need for our elf ears, and I got a styrofoam head for my wig, as well as a wig cap.

I will go see Chronicles of Riddick over the weekend. I still have that free ticket, dammit. But I must see it! And Christy and I will most likely see Spider-Man 2 on Monday. If only I can stay away from spoilers until then. x_x

EEE Anime Expo tomorrow! I am SO not going to be able to sleep tonight. XD And the convention isn't even all that great. I'm looking forward to taking tons of photos of all the costumes and buying doujinshi. *drool* But now I must find something to do that will keep me busy between now and bedtime (which will be about 1am).
